Thursday

Scrapoholic Digi Thursday

I used one stamp from the last digi set and some from this new set. I didn't quite get it finished, so this is an almost finished project.  I can't decide if I want to paint the bird houses or use paper or even leave it as it is. Its a wood hanging Decoration I've had for awile and just haven't done anything with it.  There is 3 wooden bird houses strung together with some rope. I printed the did stamps on some canvas paper and used my water color pencils but didn't blend the pencil, I liked the look of the coloring on these stamps. I attached them temporary with the temporary tape runner. So here's my Wooden Birdhouse Door hanger!  Thinking of Spring is such a nice thought!

Digi Thursday Design Team Challenge

Hello again. Can you believe its been two weeks since the last challenge. I've been pretty busy getting some drawing done for a few clients. Haven't had much free time having a regular full time job too. So I used The JJ's Design digi stamps from The Scrapoholic to make some cards that I'll be sending to her for Cards for soldiers. She is collecting cards for them to send back home.I have done this before but not as much as i wish i could. here are a few of the card i have made so far.

Thank you for stopping by. Make sure you check out THE SCRAPOHOLIC and the other Design teams projects on their blogs too.

Here is my "fSympathy Card", with "JJ's Digi Design Stamp"
I used a White Cardstock card base 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". The cut Black Card stock as the top base of my card. Printed the digi stamp on white cardstock on my printer. I colored it in with my gel pens. I used a Inkadinkadoo wood stamp for "sympathy" word that I stamped in black ink on the banner part of the digi stamp. I added two small silver flowers and layered them and added a small black adhesive pearl.

I also, Colored in all the other Digi Stamps too, I plan on making cards with them.

Welcome To My Art gallery

I just discovered Facebook, alright,  I've known about it for awhile and was one of those reluctant people. Thanks to co-workers and friends that forced me to sign up.  Now, I've been forced into the blogging world. Sharing is out of my comfort zone, but something i am wanting to work on and I think this is a fantastic way to be somewhat anonymous but still sharing. I am more a mixed media artist, but again those same friends have introduced me to this paper crafting obsession. Which I love my friends and without them, I'd never would have met my future husband, I hope. I am not much of a computer person, but am finding some interesting things via the internet.

I am starting the blog not only to share some of my art work but also, because I have been honorably chosen to be part of The Scrapoholic's Digital Stamp Design Team. Which is very exciting, to be able to take someone else' artwork and turn into something more. I am very excited about this new adventure in my life. Hope you enjoy the journey with me.
